The 35,000 square foot Millennium Hall Communications Center was completed in the Spring of 2001 to replace the University of Wisconsin-Stout existing Communications Center. The new facility is required to consolidate technical support areas and provide needed classroom, office, and production space for students, faculty, and administration.
The communications facility is equipped with state-of-the-art technology including electronic equipment, acoustics and communications systems.
The new center provides instructional technology and satellite uplink capability for the campus. It also provides students with access to technology; distance learning classrooms and general assignment classrooms; a multimedia training and development resource center; space for professional technical support staff; and imaging, photo finishing, and computer graphics production areas.
