Chippewa Valley Technical College's 51,000 square foot Manufacturing and Technology Center houses manufacturing-related educational programs, such as industrial mechanics and electronics. The center also includes a classroom for the National Technology University, a consortium cooperative of 48 universities that offer courses via satellite.
Conference areas, intended for use by both the college and local businesses, were designed to function as multimedia corporate board rooms or instructional spaces for groups of up to 38 people. Special lighting, acoustical treatments, furniture, and finishes accommodate the interactive environment.
Flexible classrooms labs maximize space with demountable office partitions. The facility has an exterior wall panel system, which ill ease future expansion.
