Our Involvement

Faced with a lack of site area to accommodate needed expansion, YMCA of Dodge County decided to relocate to a new building on an 18-acre site. The new facility has allowed the Y to consolidate programming at one location, provide adequate on-site parking and increase accessibility to the communities throughout Dodge County.

The YMCA of Dodge County includes approximately 60,000 square feet of space located on two levels. The ground floor includes a lobby, offices, gymnasium, men's, women's and family locker rooms, and child care areas. The second floor includes a fitness center and an aerobics room.

The Y features a 23,000 square foot aquatics area with both lap/instructional and recreational pools. The recreational pool is enhanced by a waterslide that is routed outside the building to conserve interior space, expand the length of the slide and visually express the recreational aspect of the facility to passers-by.

Construction of the new YMCA began in August of 2006 and was completed in August 2007.
