Local Firm Awarded UW-Eau Claire Projects
The Haas Fine Arts Center project will include a space study covering assessment of the current condition of the Haas Fine Arts Center, analysis of space needs, and developing a program statement for all existing and proposed programming space.
The future renovations at the Haas Fine arts Center are expected to include all aspects of the facility from mechanical systems to demolition, renovation and new construction throughout the space. The final program statement shall be completed by April of 2015 and will need to conform to the 2010-2030 overall campus master plan. The Haas Fine Arts Center was constructed in 1970 and at this time many of the original systems are still in place. Besides upgrades to outdated systems and design, the space is likely to be redesigned to accommodate new programs and improved modern technology.
The McPhee Physical Education Center project includes design and coordination of external repairs to the roof, walls and walkways at the facility. Design work is taking place currently and construction will commence during the 2015 season with substantial completion by September, 2015.
