Cindy Estrada
Sustainability Specialist,
I have always been interested in buildings, my grandfather was a carpenter and though he passed away when I was just 2 years old, I think his interest/talent in building was passed on through my Dad who inherited his bent for carpentry and a truckload of tools.

I really get excited by the enthusiasm that clients bring to their projects when it is more than just "a job" and is the vision of a teacher, manager or a group. The part of the process I most enjoy is in the earliest or schematic design phase where we investigate possibilities and "put pencil to paper" to envision the reality of a building.

I love spending time with family and friends, reading, doing home improvement projects, being outdoors; walking my dog or riding my bike. Above all, I have two beautiful grandchildren that I can't get enough of when they are in town.

My educational background includes an Associates Degree in Civil Engineering Technician-Structural from Chippewa Valley Technical College. I began working in architecture in 2004, the same year I began with SDS Architects.
